Context

Toptracer screenshot from the sequencing drill block (25 balls, 7i, step-change-of-direction + pump-drill) of today's session s-2026-09-27. Table showed the 3 most recent shots plus a rolling average; user confirmed the average is the representative number for the full 25-ball block, not the 3 individual shots (which were just whatever happened to be last on screen, including one outlier).

Observations

  • Sequencing / Over-the-topBlock average (99yd carry, 106mph ball speed, 8-degree launch, 139yd total) is below the ~150yd/131mph baseline but not dramatically — a much steadier picture than the 3 individually-logged shots suggested on their own, once the 53.7yd-offline outlier isn't over-weighted. Consistent with isolating a new sequencing move rather than swinging normally.
  • Distance / Ball Speed ConsistencyAverage offline was 6ft (~2yd), direction not shown — much tighter than the individual outlier implied. The 3 logged shots remain real data points, just not representative of the block on their own; the average is the number to trust for this block.

Verdict

Correcting the earlier read: the block average tells a calmer story than the 3 individual shots did — carry and ball speed are down from baseline as expected while grooving a new movement, but not the wild, outlier-driven picture the last 3 shots alone suggested. Numbers alone still can't confirm the sequencing itself has changed (that needs video), so this stays feel-building, not a verdict on progress — but there's no cause for concern here.
