Context

Toptracer screenshots, driver, from a range visit not linked to any planned session. User said "7 iron and driver" but only the driver table was fully visible on screen (current club = driver); the dispersion scatter shows a second, 7-iron shot cluster but no numeric table for it was shared, so no 7-iron numbers are logged here.

Observations

  • Distance / Ball Speed ConsistencyAverage carry (221yd) is a real step up from both 9/27 driver blocks (177yd transfer, 193yd pressure test) at the same ball speed as the better of those two (154mph) -- genuine efficiency gain, not just swinging harder. One shot (222yd carry, 55yd offline) was a big slice, but unlike the anomalous reading from 9/27 this one's curve/apex/hang time all scale together consistently, so it reads as a real bad swing rather than a tracking glitch.
  • Sequencing / Over-the-topEvery shot missed right again (11.7 to 55.0yd), average 29.0yd right -- same one-directional pattern as both 9/27 driver blocks. The distance gain hasn't come with a dispersion fix; still fully consistent with the arms-before-hips pattern confirmed on video on 9/27 and in the 1-year-old comparison.

Verdict

Genuinely good distance news on driver -- carry is up meaningfully at comparable ball speed, which wasn't true on 9/27. But the miss pattern (one-way right, matching the known over-the-top path) hasn't moved, exactly as the video evidence predicted it wouldn't from a single session's cueing. Driver now has 8 logged shots with carry and offline both present, past the 5-shot minimum for a data-driven goal -- worth asking for one if useful. If 7-iron numbers get shared too, happy to log those alongside.
